Time to concede

I’ll admit, it’s simply become all to difficult to rebut early critics.

Our 5th anniversary gala just ran headlong into the 40 Miss Vietnam beauty pageant finalists at Lifestyle Resort.

Incredible beach resorts, new ones seem to open every few months; Lifestyle Resort, Hyatt, Crowne Plaza, Vinpearl Luxury, & Fusion Maia.  The “6-Star”, extreme opulence, Intercontinental Resort opened last month. Next up is Banyan Tree’s Laguna Lang Co – with its own Sir Nick Faldo signature golf links.

Three world-class golf courses have opened in as many years. Four years ago, there were none. Now PGA events are on the calendar.

Let’s not mention the city’s annual International Fireworks Competition, the city’s rejuvenation, high rises, and sparkle.

There is a sleek new airport is abuzz with record passengers. Airlines are adding more frequent flights. It’s hard to keep up with the new routes, let alone the new international carriers. DaNang’s got direct service to Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore, and even Macau. Next up, is Australia. Vietnam’s very first Burger King, even landed right here in Danang.

The San Jose Mercury News said it was “Vietnam’s Next Best Place” four years ago. Recently the  Los Angeles Times headlined DaNang as “Surf City, Vietnam”. And of course, there’s still the Forbes List of the World’s Most Luxurious Beaches. Danang’s “China Beach” is still there in the Top-10. Though it’s now politely called “DaNang Beach.”

Travel bloggers, magazines, and writers are following us on Twitter.

But now, the last straw. Incredible as it may seem, clients are coming back to visit us on their vacations, even bringing family and friends along.

I’ll concede, the critics may be right – This is ‘Club Med for ITO”.

I can’t deny it any longer -Danang Rocks.

But then, so does Enclave, according to our ODC clients.
