Danang University of Technology
Institutional Partnership
Targets of Partnership
From Enclave’s outset, we made it clear that we had no interest in building proprietary universities.
What we were interested in, was working with Vietnam’s accredited academic universities - in a meaningful way - to improve program quality, opportunities, and promise for their graduates, and expanding access to education.
Criticism of Vietnam’s institutions has often been unduly harsh, particularly within the ITO sector. Actually, Vietnam’s universities perform quite well given their public mission and available resources. We thus seek to assist the institutional community, improve the quality of programs, and thus the opportunities awaiting graduates.
We’ve stepped up to support a winning intercollegiate robotics team, spawned career planning and guidance offices, influenced improvements in curriculum and access, taken to the teaching lectern, helped bring international degree programs from CMU to Danang, and hosted a successful and continuing off-campus 3 year masters degree program in Computer Sciences. Our 12-week Software Engineering Bootcamp was so successful, qualified college seniors receive academic credits for it, which means graduating ahead of schedule and getting to work.
For several years being in Danang city, Enclave has built up strong institutional relationship with regional universities specialized in Information Technologies. Not being satisfied with what have been done and achieved, Enclave has worked with many other Information Technology universities in Hue province and Quang Nam province. In addition, we have formed a good partnership with Chaopraya University (Thailand) in recent years to train the students on software engineering and working attitudes. We hope that, with a big partnership with these universities, we may have recruited a lot of high quality software engineers.
