JOB SUMMARY:

Under general direction of the department manager, this person is responsible for design, provision, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This person is expected to diagnose and solve problems that are complex across various operating systems and applications, working closely with users, clients and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administration of Application, Microsoft Server and Desktop Platforms
  • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft DNS and DHCP, Enterprise Patching, file and print services.
  • Experience with Office 365 administration and security
  • Install new and rebuild existing servers, configure hardware, peripherals and services in accordance with standards and project requirements
  • Support systems as required by optimizing performance, resolving production problems, and providing timely follow-up on reported problems and as assigned
  • Resolve server and application issues across IaaS/PaaS/SaaS related compute
  • Interpret and maintain system documentation
  • Undergo root cause analysis of reported issues, troubleshooting and resolution
  • Experience with monitoring systems and troubleshooting concepts
  • Experience with scripting
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Experienced in managing a domain environment with 50 servers or more
  • 5 years of experience in troubleshooting performance problems and performing application releases
  • 5 years experience with Operating Systems, Workstations and Servers
  • 3 years experience in Patch Management, domain management, and server application management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to author, present and explain technical information to diverse types of audiences.
  • Ability to evaluate technical solutions and recommend solutions
  • Experience in working in a 24×7 operations model
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, excellent organizational skills, proven ability to prioritize multiple activities and objectives to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
